Humanitarian and community developmental strides of DAO foundation

The popular saying that great people do common things in an extra ordinary way is a universal truth that doesn’t need debate. DAO Foundation actualized this recently on Monday 10th April, 2023. It was a remarkable and historical one for the people of Onicha Olona Community in Aniocha North Local Government of Delta State. It was a day specially set aside by DAO Foundation to celebrate and commission some of the community live impacting projects initiated and executed by the DAO Foundation ably led by her President, Dr Doris Amaka Ochie in the company of her beloved better half, Major General Raymond Ochie.

It was a glaring fact that the ancient City of Onicha Olona market required some developmental attention in view of the fact that some basic amenities had been abandoned by all. To this end, God used the DAO to wipe away tears in the eyes of the indigenes. It is worthy of mention that the Community market and the access road to the market were nightmares. One may ask why?
Onicha Olona Community market and the road leading to it had been in shambles, bushy, unusable and unpassable over the years. DAO Foundation recently saw the need to change the narratives by not only making a pronouncement to rebuild the market dilapidated structures and reconstruct the road to grant market women and men access to the market but eventually embarked and completed the projects promptly and satisfactorily to the joy and admirations of the people of the community. Today, the market structures are world standards. The access road is very motorable and accessible courtesy DAO Foundation.

The commissioning ceremony attracted who is who in the town and environs as all men of timber and caliber of Aniocha North Local Government graced the occasion. Noteable amongst them were, HRH …., Rt Hon. Victor Ochie, etc
